You can add the depreciation for you business use of home, but you'll need to step through most of the home office interview to get there. Note that depreciation automatically take into account when you use the simplified method ($5/square foot). (See the attached screenshots below. Click to enlarge.)

To edit your home office, start here :

·         Type “Schedule C” in the Search box.

·         Select the “Jump to” link.

·         Select Add expenses for this work (or Edit and navigate down to Business Expenses).
