Yes that is the code I got. What do I do now? Does she have to amend her return? Do I keep my return the same or delete her from mine?

If her return was accepted by the IRS already then she will have to file an amended return and you will need for that to be processed by the IRS or you will need to delete her from yours.

Yes, she will have to amend her return indicating she can be claimed by someone else.  Since it takes 8 to 16 weeks for an amended return to process, your best solution is to add her as a dependent on your tax return, and mail in the return, since you will not be able to efile until her amended return has processed.

@TurboTaxJeanneLO - Not a great answer.  OP can file by mail without deleting her daughter as a dependent.
