Purchased Premier and tried opening it on my Mac got message stating OS was wrong and I couldn't upgrade. Don't want to pay for the program a second time. Can you help?

2017 desktop software for MAC requires OS X 10.11 or higher.

Is your OS X version 10.10.5?   if so, do you have another computer with a higher OS X, or a Windows PC with Win 7 SP1 or higher?

If not, we can tell you how to get a refund.  Did you purchase Premier from TurboTax or elsewhere?  Is it a download or a CD?

You can use the Online TurboTax product to prepare your return, if you wish, since that's done through a browser.

Yes, it's 10.10.5 and I do not have another computer with the higher OS.  I purchased Premier from Costco and It's on CD.

Then you need a refund and you need to use the Online version.  Can’t you upgrade your Mac to OS 10.11.6 or higher?

No--tried and it said I could not upgrade any further.

Then you are out of luck.  Unless you can find another Mac or pc.  Maybe a friends or family?
