Worst Customer Service Of All Time For Ongoing Issue

I initially tried to submit my taxes for my wife and I sometime in mid-March. I was able to Netfile my taxes, but my wife's taxes had an error - Turbotax forgot to ask questions related to a sale of a house in 2024, and tried to reroute me to fix that error prior to Netfiling. Only, when hitting the "Fix" button, it popped up with an unspecified/generic error. I tried clearing my cache, tried different web browsters, restarted computer, etc. Nothing worked, I am unable to submit my wife's Netfile, so I called the Intuit customer service phone number.

 

I have since had to call in 5 separate times since mid-March. It is now April 4th and I just got off the phone with another "Product Specialist" who spent over an hour on the phone completing a simple escalation request. I was told (lied to) multiple days before that, that an escalation had already been submitted and that a supervisor or senior technician would call me (they never did - turns out the escalation was never submitted). Prior to that, I was told (now weeks ago) that the error was a software issue on Intuit's end, and it would be complete by March 28th (it wasn't). Prior calls and future calls made no mention/admission of this "software issue". Every "Product Specialist" I speak to has not only 0 knowledge of the (now weeks ongoing) issue, but they seem legitimately confused when I ask them the simplest question, or even ask for the most basic visibility into my issue. They seem to have been given literally 0 training whatsoever - on their system, processes, etc. They are incapable of answering even the most basic questions. I have also been given a completely different story by everyone (I at this point have to assume they are just making things up to tell me as nothing is consistent from rep to rep). It is as if Intuit is practicing perfect Anti-Customer Service.

 

My issue remains unresolved and I remain unable to submit my wife's taxes, 3+ weeks on now.

 

Suffice to say, this is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. It's actually baffling. I'll never be using Intuit's tax service again for the rest of my life.
