Worksheet won't delete - CAN'T COMPLETE TAXES Home & Business

I was about to Efile in TurboTax 2021 Home & Business when I was told yet again that a federal had to be entered for a BLANK 1099-Misc Worksheet.

I had tried deleting this form repeatedly.

All of my efile info and banking info was wiped out when this process started again.

This is a HUGE waste of time and may require me mailing in my forms to the IRS which is NOT why I paid for Turbotax.

Others have reported a problem trying to delete forms in TurboTax 2021.

Forms and worksheets are deleted in a different manner between the Online products and the desktop products.

*** Desktop***

1.. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select the desired form(s) to delete. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.

*** Online ***

1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form

2. delete form(s) and worksheets (Wrks)

Continue what you are doing.

SOME forms and worksheets are created by other forms and worksheets, so sometimes you have to delete them in order. What form or worksheet are you trying to delete?

After an hour on the phone with support, I discovered I had 25 blank Worksheets I needed to delete.

Only 5 of hte blank forms were shown in the left column in the list of forms.

The other 20 were only visible when clicking the button to search for forms.

I then had to search for, open, Remove 25 forms.

Good times...but at least I was able to efile after that.

Your idea for deleting sounds more efficient than mine.

TurboTax has a bug in that it did not show the 25 forms in the left column.
