I worked 1 month in CT, then retired and moved to SC. How do I file state tax return(s)?                                                                                                         Husband retired 12/31/17 but got last pays in 2018. Does he file 2 state returns? We are both collecting social security benefits.

You would file a Connecticut part-year resident return and report the income you earned/received while a resident of Connecticut.  You would also file a South Carolina part-year resident return, and report the income you earned/received while a resident of South Carolina.
