Withholding tax and taxable income
My partner spouse earns a salary and pays withholding taxes, and also receives a Social Security retirement benefit. I receive Social Security retirement benefits and long-term disability insurance. How do I know what we'll owe in tax at the end of the year, and is there a way to withhold it during the year so we're prepared?

Withholding tax and taxable income
Hi @MCMuir ,
Thank you for the question, there is a way to withhold taxes from your social security for federal withholding. The link below has the information needed for that.

To help you in determining what you may owe, you can use the TaxCaster calculator for year end tax planning.
