Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Will you explain why I did Federal/State return by Deluxe Edition 2/11/2020 and paid costly for it. Now 4/10/2020 You took another $84.80 out of my Bank Account? Why?

My question is about Billing only. Why the April 10, 2020 withdrawal from my bank? Also, I never heard it may happen?

When you paid on 2/11/20, HOW did you pay?  Did you pay upfront with credit/debit card, or did you choose to pay the fees out of your Federal refund?

If you paid the 2/11/20 fees upfront with credit/debit card and were mistakenly debited again in April, we can tell you how to speak to TurboTax Support.

On the other hand, if you chose to pay your TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, and if your Federal refund has been delayed unusually long at the IRS (or if it's been reduced), TurboTax will want to be paid.  They likely started sending you emailed bills to pay.  If you don't respond by either paying or asking for a deferment, they will ultimately debit your bank account.   If you didn't get the emails, check other email accounts and also the spam/junk folders.

See this FAQ that explains the process.  The first paragraph has a special phone number if you have a question or need to appeal a NSF fee (non-sufficient funds/overdraft fee).

FAQ:  Why was my bank account auto-debited for the TurboTax fees?

There are two different ways to pay for the TurboTax online account fees.  The first is to pay using a credit card before the tax return is filed.  The second option is to pay with the federal tax refund (if the refund is large enough to cover the account fees plus the $40 service charge).

If you used the first method and paid the account fees with a credit card and your credit card account shows that the fees were paid in February then you will need to contact TurboTax support for a refund.

Support is open from 5am to 5pm Pacific time, Monday thru Friday

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.

Use this website to contact TurboTax support during business hours - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax

If you used the second method and requested to have the TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund and the tax refund has been delayed, then see this TurboTax support FAQ for information on paying the account fees - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-tur...
