You can use online TurboTax with a Chromebook. But if you are asking if you can use the CD/download on a Chromebook, no, you cannot. The CD/download software will work on full PC or Mac.

I purchased a downloadable version of TurboTax last week and I cannot open it or use it because I have a Chromebook. I didn't know at that time that it wasn't compatible with chrome. Is there anyway I can get a refund?

The desktop software only works on a full PC or Mac--not on Chromebooks or any sort of mobile devices.
