Just wanted to do my taxes, now I have to either buy a new computer, or phouck up everything that currently runs smoothly just to run an app that could easily be run on Classic OS 9.....
One recommendation from Intuit is to use the web-based version. this does work and will upload your previous year's info. But I purchased deluxe, can I use that purchase to pay for the online version?
I have no idea! I didn't see any way to connect my purchase to what they offer online. Looks like we'd have to ask for a refund, & then pay fullprice for the web version...
My computer is still using Mac Sierra (10.12.6). Can I use the online version of Home & Business even though I can not use the CD?
The CD version of TTax contains versions for PC and MAC.

Unfortunately, your online version is inferior to the desktop versions I have used in the past. It doesn't allow one to itemize separated sources for certain entries nor does it allow you to review the actual completed IRS forms without having to pay and then generate PDF's.
Will TurboTax 2019 pay the shipping cost to return the disk to Intuit since the software was advertised and sold as working on a Mac computer?
What is the Apple contact number? Email works best but phone number is OK too.

Glad I'm not the only one with this problem!!! I can load 10.13 on my MacBook Air so I can run TT 2019. However, if I do this, none of my other software ($$$$$$ to upgrade) will work.
After much gnashing of teeth, searching for another way to accomplish the fact - and that I won't buy another $2,000 Apple product. . .
The simple answer is buy an inexpensive other computer and then do your taxes online. If you already purchased a Disk (like I did even this year), you can use the code from that to do your taxes on the Intuit website.
Don't let this frustration get you down. It just requires you to go around your A** to get to your nose. And that is my official opinion of obsolescence.
Hang in there, it gets easier when you work through the logic of the process.
