What are you trying to do?   If you are trying to start a 2023 return online, it is too late.   So, if that is the case, then yes, there is a cost for using the CD/download.    It is too late to use the free software online.   You can purchase the CD/download to use on a full PC or Mac, and you can mail the return.   You can ask for help here in the user forum or you can contact customer support when you are using the CD/download.
