Please see this TurboTax FAQ for tips when you receive an Error Code 2 when transmitting your tax return: Error Code 2 - Internet connection issue
I have been trying to transmit my return for the last 2 days. it keeps giving me the error code 2. The firewall and popup blocker are shut off. I took the payment ok but will not transmit the return.
Please see the Help Article here for further troubleshooting: Error Code 2 - Internet connection issue
you and this forum was absolutely no help, but we got it figured out on our own. Thanks for nothing.
Like MP54, I've checked into and implemented all of the suggestions related to transmission Error 2.
Sadly, I haven't had any success over the past two days, even after multiple re-tries, multiple Win 10 updates, disabling firewalls and anti-virus programs, and even clearing browser caches and cookies - even though I'm using the CD version. Based on my results -- still stuck with Error: 2 -- I'm finding the forum to be of limited help as well.
Any suggestions at this point (especially after collecting my state filing fee) would certainly be welcome. If I can't successfully e-file I'll certainly be an unhappy customer :-(.
Did you do a manual update of the TurboTax software?
Please follow the instructions in this TurboTax FAQ to contact customer support if you need further assistance: What is the TurboTax phone number?
I have been trying to submit my efile taxes for two days and get Transmission problems. I tried on two different devices, my cellphone and laptop. Turbetax took their fee with no problem.

I had this problem also, and I tried all of the firewall suggestions, still wouldn't transmit. Here's how I got it to work:
1) I lowered the firewall as suggested in other posts.
2) Instead of trying to efile the federal and states at the same time, I efiled each return individually. So I started with federal and then each state. Each of those returns individually went through on the first try without a hitch.
I hope this will help someone.
Thank you for providing the tips that worked for you for Error Code 2 @Goldribbon. In addition, I am also including some troubleshooting steps below as it relates to transmission problems in general.
It worked for me, too, even without changing my security setting. I transmitted Fed first, then state. It took a while for Fed, but went through. Thanks @Goldribbon
How did you solve this? I contacted Turbotax/Intuit and they couldn't figure it out.
