To get the missing third stimulus payment you will simply file a real 2021 form 1040 and you don't need help for that in fact if you wait until the IRS FREE FILE options open in January you can file completely for free.
Did you get EIP1 and EIP2 .?
If not you have to submit 2020 Form 1040.
That has to be done on paper via US Mail.
Put the amount you did not get on Line 30, then complete the remaining lines.
EIP3 is separate and should be handled as outlined above.
Which stimulus check(s) are you trying to get? There have been three so far. The first one was sent out in 2020 and it was $1200 for adults and $500 for their dependents under the age of 17. The second one was sent out in late 2020 or early 2021 and was $600 for adults and $600 for their dependents under the age of 17.
If you missed getting the 1st or 2nd one, the way to get it is to file a 2020 tax return and use the recovery rebate credit. There is not a "non-filer" form to get it. You prepare and file a normal Form 1040 for 2020 and mail it in. The recovery rebate credit goes on line 30 and becomes part of the tax refund. It is too late to use online software to prepare a 2020 return so you would need the paper form 1040 for 2020 and the form has to be mailed.
If you are trying to get the 3rd stimulus check for $1400, you have to file a 2021 tax return and ----again--- use the recovery rebate credit on a normal Form 1040. There is not a "non-filer" tax form to use. For that return, take the advice already given and use the IRS Free File program that opens later in January to file a 2021 return for free and e-file it.
TurboTax "experts" do not prepare past year returns. For the 2020 paper form 1040 to prepare and mail:
