Why won’t the app accept my service code from my purchased disk

I think we need a little more clarification on exactly what you are trying to do. When you say "app", are you referring to the TurboTax Mobile App that you can use on a smart phone or tablet?

The licence code for a CD or Downloaded program WILL NOT work on the ONLINE version ... you need to pay the ONLINE fees then get a refund of the CD you cannot use .... OR switch to the CD version to continue and file the return you started on the ONLINE version.
