Why is Turbotax asking questions about 199A dividend

My Vanguard 1099-DIV form included a figure in Box 5 (199A dividends).   When I entered this information into Turbotax I got a pop-up window asking questions about this dividend, such as "a portion of dividends is from US Gov't interest".   There was no information on the form that helped me answer these questions.  So I called Vanguard to ask about this and was told that they could provide no further information.  My question is - how do I go about answering Turbotax questions if the source of the income can't provide any additional information?   I'm sure I can't be the only person having this issue.  If Vanguard has no other information about the dividend, why is Turbotax asking?

Why is Turbotax asking questions about 199A dividend

TurboTax is asking these questions so that dividends will be taxed appropriately. Next to several of these questions are "learn more" links. If you click the links, you might find enough guidance to answer your questions.

Vanguard will likely not provide advice on how to report the dividends. If the "learn more" links do not help, you may be able to answer your questions with a little research into the funds themselves. There should be a fund name that you can search online for further information. You also may have received some literature with the 1099-DIV itself that can shed some light on these questions.
