Why is the TaxCaster refund calculator for 2021 wrong for me?

Single, no dependents, cannot be claimed as dependent. Only wages is W2 $47094 and no unemployment, fed income tax withheld is $5500. Why is the taxcaster telling me my refund is $2956. But while preparing the actual return the refund estimate is about half that?

I didnt fill out any other information down below, just status, income, and fed tax withheld

Did the taxcaster give you the $1400 stimulus check which you really already received?  Is there an amount on line 30 of your Form 1040?

Taxcaster has a place for that third  stimulus payment ... you did not go far enough ...
