You can try re-entering your first and last name in the "Personal Information" section of TurboTax or making sure they match. Also, do not include a hyphen or any spaces in your name.
In TurboTax Online to go back and check your name, you can do the following:
- Log into your account
- Click the (down) caret next to "Personal Information" (See screenshot below for guidance)
- Click the (down) caret next to your name
- Select "Edit" if you need to edit it
In TurboTax Desktop to go back and check your name, you can do the following:
- Log into your account and continue your return
- Go to the "Personal Info" section
- On the screen under "Your Personal Information" select "Edit" by your name if you have to change it
**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post
**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
