Why is my account negative 2700+. I have never paid such an ungodly amount in my life. What happened?

Look at your federal tax return, form 1040.  Do you see any discrepancies?

If your total tax liability on Line 24 is greater than your total tax payments on Line 33 then you will have taxes owed.

Was there an amount on line 37 of your Form 1040?   Line 37 shows how much you owe to the IRS.

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, to contact the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,

AND, to find your AGI next year.
OR, to avoid submitting a tax return with miscalculations.
