Why is it trying to get me to pay when I have a simply tax return?

I did the standard deduction and I didn't receive any credits. When i went to file it said I had received a credit (that I know I didn't because I don't qualify) and now itll only take me to the payment page when I try to file.

Are you referring to the Saver's Credit? If so, and you do not want the credit then go back to My Info and for the occupation enter Student. Then the credit will not be available and you can use the Free edition.
