do you have a new machine (purchased after 10/10/20) loaded with Windows Version 2h20?
you shouldn't need to 'repair' it; suggest unloading the software, then reload it, it should download all the updates from TT. When it gets to the activation screen, is when it should freeze. close out of the program.
1) change the resolution size to 800x600 (start>settings>display) - remember what the resolution was originally set to.
2) launch the software and activate it.
3) change the resolution back to its original sizing.
does that work?
Turns out it wasn't freezing. I just couldn't see any of the information in the box. Might have been the resolution thing (it was a new computer) but I couldn't get that change to help. I managed to get past it by moving the mouse around until the pointer changed and then clicking and pasting in the activation code. I got lucky I suppose, but I did get it to work.
Here is my error trying to fix premier . Your suggestion did not work. New windows 11 computer. Any other ideas ?
