Why does turbo tax think I didn’t pay for more than half of household expenses? It determined I should file as single from false information that it never asked for. Why?

I do not see any option to change to head of household. I am the only adult in the house, with dependents, and have been all year.

You may have answered something incorrectly in MY INFO.  Check your entries for the dependents.  Only certain people can be qualified dependents for HOH filing status.  You cannot use the children of a GF or BF, for example.

Thank you. This happened before I had a chance to review the dependent information, but after everything in the section was updated, it was corrected.
