Why does Turbo Tax deceive you about the cost of the e-file

While completing the E-file in the program it showed it cost $20 to e-file State. It also showed a $10 credit bringing my cost to $10. When paying on the Intuit site they charged $25 with a $10 credit bring my cost to $15 dollars. $5 isn't a big deal but across thousands of customers it will add up fast.

Seem deceptive to me, anyone else?

Read the very fine print that tells you the fees are subject to change.   And....every year the fees increase on March 1.  You can avoid the state e-file fee altogether by printing and mailing the state.

I would understand subject to change if the change in price didn’t happen in the 1 minute it took to go from the program to the website.
