Why does my rejected return prices change when I try to refile them this year?

I tried filing on here for my 2021 taxes they kept getting rejected that year. So when tax time came this year I tried re filing it but the refund price was 2,000 dollars less than the first time filing

It is not clear what you are attempting to do when you are trying to "re-file."     What did you do to file your 2021 return now?   Did you print out the return you prepared last year?  Or did you try to use the current online software and enter your 2021 information?  Please explain the steps you have taken.

I used this app last year to file but it got rejected, they still have all the paperwork on the app; even before I tried filing now it was the original price it told me last year. Once I put the info in again the return price dropped drastically, and it was paired with a w2 I got this year so it was mainly the confusion on if I did something wrong or if I just missed my chance to file it.

What do you mean by "it was paired with a W-2 I got this year"------Did you enter a 2022 W-2 into the 2021 return?

You cannot put 2021 income on a 2022 tax return, nor can you put 2022 income on a 2021 return.    Each tax year is separate.

If you can explain more clearly what all you have done we can be more helpful.
