Why does it say I have to wait on forms to file? Have I done something differently or wrong?

You haven't done anything wrong. With all the changes in forms that were made with the new tax laws, not all forms are available yet in TurboTax. You can see what forms you need that are not yet available by clicking on Review in your tax return. You can see the estimated availability dates for the forms not yet available.
