I received the same error and cannot figure out why it won’t accept. Everything has been reviewed. Is the IRS not accepting returns just yet?
Any updates on this? Turbotax says everything is good to go and to efile, so there shouldn't be any missing forms or errors. If that were the case, wouldn't Turbotax tell us that as we go through the process?
Something is off here. If I hadn't already paid, I'd be on another platform right now!
Thanks @Tony66 . This worked for me as well. Initially Turbotax charged only TurboTax Premier amount. It didn't charge for states and I was getting the same error message. Then I deleted the States and redo it. This time, it asked for additional payment for states and I was able to e-file successfully.
What if I lived in Puerto Rico for the entire year of 2020?
If you are not in a hurry to get your refunder you owe... yes, this is an alternative , but understand due to COVID IRS is working with skeleton crew so processing time will be significantly delayed.
I was having the same issue, I checked everything, I had no errors. It was a simple return, no extra forms needed to file. I deleted my state return and reentered it, that fixed it!!
Someone had suggested to delete state, I cant even delete it and start over since it asked me to pay for the service and incant delete and start over. I am getting this error also
@EbonyA Ebony—-
I cant delete and start over, before e-filing it asks u to purchase and file. I paid for my services and now cant even start over. Please advise
I waited until today , the 12th as returns not accepted until today. The system still getting the "error". Hope to see this "fixed" today.
@Kaycruz Is it charging you for state return? I also paid but it was only charging me for federal. I was still able to go in and delete just state, after I re-entered it, I had to pay for state and everything went through.
i took the advice on this thread, deleted my state and reentered it. this worked for me. anyone experiencing this i highly advise you do the same.
@JoannaB2 I am seeing in this thread that this is being investigated as a bug. Can you please confirm this, and if it will be fixed by TurboTax, and what that ETA is?
I am getting a "Our records indicate that you are not entitled to efile one or more formsets" error. I have already deleted state records and started over twice. I was able to file my federal returns w/o any issues, but can't seem to get this through after I already paid. Please help.
I am getting this same error. I thought it may have to do with the fact that my state wasn't accepting files until 2/12, but that is obviously not the case. I have cleared and redone state. When that didn't work, I cleared and re-entered the entire return. Still the same error. Has anyone found the fix? This is highly irritating...
Its not letting me delete it since it required me to pay and purchase it. Turbo tax has no help regarding this issues
