I secured my roth in 2008. I'm 70. Why is TT upset with my entries regarding 5329-t.
I've done 3 distributions . 2018,2022 and 2023 and on conversion in 2021 small under 5k
I'm not eligible for RMD's yet. Never got this form request in H&R Tax Software. I have not contributed
to Roth since 2017 at my Retirement
Confused
Thanks Greg

Form 5329-T not 5695?
The T on the Form 5695-T is just a TurboTax indicator designating the taxpayer who is listed first on the tax return. It still is a Form 5695.
Not energy credits but additional taxes on qualified plans.
@gvblk4-msn-com Sorry, my mistake. I misread the form you are referring to.

Are you still unable to file due to this form? I received the same message 3 days ago. I checked back today and no update it seems.

TurboTax updates their software normally on a Thursday. Check back tomorrow on 01/25.
Even though Form 5329 is not yet approved for filing, there is nothing inoperative on this Form in 2023 TurboTax. There have been no functional changes from the 2022 form. Examine the form to see which part of the form is being populated. This will guide you to the area of your tax return that needs your attention.
