Which TT software I need for 2024 file?

Hello,

Thank you in advance. 

I have 2 use case.

1. I turned my previous house into rental property, only 1.  I opened up LLC and made that into S corp .  Then I used quick claim deed to put my rental property into s-corp.  So I need business or home and business is enough?

2. My wife and I both work from home but her company HQ is in another state.  Do I need to file two state taxes or 1?

1. Your S-corp will need to file using business software online, TurboTax Business or desktop TurboTax Download for Business. 

For your personal taxes, you can begin with free and if an upgrade is needed, the program will tell you - click a button and continue on.

2. It depends. The other state may not even have state tax or it may be a reciprocal state or part of an agreement with neighboring states. State taxes have very different rules regarding what they consider income and the source of the income. Please reply with the states involved and any restrictions she has, does she goes in once a week, assigned to a particular site, etc.
