I received relocation money from my company and it is already accounted for in my gross salary, and therefore is a part of my taxable income. Do I still need to report it additionally anywhere in my taxes?

Hi, @kiwanski !
If your relocation benefit is included in Box 1 of your W2, you do not need to report it elsewhere as income.
Unfortunately, moving expenses are no longer deductible on Schedule A (except for military changes in station), so at least from a federal standpoint, you will not be able to counter that income with any deductions.
You should check, though, to see if moving expenses are deductible in your state!
All my best,

Hi!
If your relocation money is included in your gross salary and subsequently reported on your W-2, then that will be how you report it. If on your W-2 there is a code P in box 12, then TurboTax will know that there are excludable reimbursed moving expenses paid directly to a member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
