I received KS unemployment income but have not gotten a 1099G. I've contacted them 4 times and requested a copy which they tell me they will send and verify my address but I still have yet to receive one. I contacted the IRS and they said just input it with what you know. So my question is where do I claim it in Turbotax? Do I put it as other income or do I just put in in the Unemployment section like I have received the 1099G even though I didn't. I thought when I said I received Unemployment income it would ask me if I received 1099G but it doesn't, it just assumes I have. Looking for help so I can file. BTW, KS unemployment website is archaic and you can't get any information or detail on your claim. Been trying to get this 1099G since early Feb.

Here is a TurboTax Help article that tells you how to enter your unemployment without the form.
If you received unemployment compensation from a union, private voluntary fund, or as a state employee you might not get a 1099-G. Here's how you enter the unemployment:
I'm not using Turbo Tax Online, but I downloaded the Turbo Tax Deluxe version. That Link it jumps you to when you search on Unemployment, ask the question "Did you receive unemployment or paid family leave benefits on a 1099-G in 2021". I did receive unemployment but I have not gotten a 1099. If I answer No since I don't have a 1099G, it takes me to another screen that my only options are if I have Repaid Unemployment of I received unemployment from private voluntary fund, union or as a State Employee....which none of those apply. If I answer Yes, then it asks me to fill out info from 1099G (which of course I don't have). I've calculated roughly what my amounts are for Gross, Fed tax and State tax, but don't know where to put it. These numbers are close but may not be 100%.
It works the same way in the desktop version. You have to choose one of those options that don't apply to be able to enter the income without the form. If you received state or federal unemployment, you should be able to retrieve your 1099-G from the same website you used to apply and claim unemployment benefits from. If you had withholdings, that information would be included on the 1099-G. Without having the 1099-G, you are asking for a delay in processing as it is very unlikely that your guess matches what was sent to the IRS.
Unfortunately Kansas website does not have copies of 1099 or doesn't even show your weekly unemployment stubs or any detail on their website. I've called them 4-5 times and the only thing they can tell me is to request a reprint, which I've done multiple times and still haven't received it (and I did verify the address to mail it to). So if I absolutely can't get a 1099 G, what is best option for me? Is there any other way in Turbo Tax to report this income without a 1099G?
Your Kansas unemployment information may be available with the IRS. Check your Wage and Income transcript to see whether it’s been reported yet.

If the 1099-G is not available yet, you can file an extension.
You can report your unemployment in the unemployment section of TurboTax without a 1099-G if you know who much you received.
If you enter an estimate, as IRS suggested, then your return may eventually be corrected. If you underreported, there may be penalty and interest.
