Hi Laurie,

I too am waiting for my economic stimulus check. On the IRS portal, my info was saying it would be deposited into an account that I never had, but with no date. That started about 2 weeks ago. I checked again today and it says a check will be mailed out on May 15. We'll see. It's frustrating, I know. Just keep checking. Good luck and stay safe.

When will they have answers to people that need there stimulus payment now , no more excuses , and just a date at least . This is terrible , and it's so wrong to treat people this way.

I filed my 2019 taxes on April 10th I was charged $110 which came out of my refund which was directly deposited into my bank account. However when it came to my stimulus check, get my payment tool said it needed more information. When I went to add my AGI I accidentally put in the wrong number and when I went back into fix it the IRS site said it would be mailed out on May 1. I don't understand why my tax refund was deposited into my bank account but my stimulus check wasn't? I have been ready through all these messages and I'm terrified I won't receive my check at all!! Any help would be much appreciated.

@DoninGA Our tax refund comes from the IRS, turbo tax gives the IRS our information from our taxes for our tax refund and stimulus checks so why can turbo tax not help when it come to our stimulus check??

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information whatsoever concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.  Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return or the stimulus payment.

@DoninGA. I still don't understand why my tax refund was deposited in my bank account but the irs didn't have my account information for the stimulus payment?

It is now May 13th and I still haven't received my stimulus and I filed my taxes jan 27th....does anyone know what is going on? Everyone around me is getting theirs even in the mail and still nothing. The irs website only gives me payment status unavailable so that doesnt help. Please can someone help me.
