Where does the amount from 1040 Schedule 1 line 36 (adjustments to income) get entered on 1040?

Why did Turbo Tax not subtract my Schedule 1 Line 36 adjustments to income?

Where does the amount from 1040 Schedule 1 line 36 (adjustments to income) get entered on 1040?

You will not actually see the amount from Schedule 1 line 36 on page 1 of your Form 1040; however, it IS being subtracted.

The amount from 1040 Schedule 1, Line 36 is subtracted from line 6 of Form 1040 and the difference is reported on LIne 8.

To verify this, view your Form 1040 Line 7.  It should equal your Form 1040 Line 6 minus your Schedule 1 Line 36.
