President Biden did not send you a $2000 stimulus check. Congress passed a law that gave you a $1400 per person stimulus check. The IRS sent out the checks. The IRS sent you letter 6475 which shows how much was sent to you last year. When you go to the Federal Review section of your federal tax software you will need to enter the amount you received. If you filed a joint return you should each have a letter that shows half the amount that was sent to you. If you are unsure how much you received then look at your bank account for deposits of $1400 per person between mid-March and May of 2021. Or check your online account with the IRS. Each spouse needs to check.
If you received $1400 per person on your tax return then line 30 of your 2021 tax form should be blank.

There have been 3 stimulus payment so far.
#1 was 1,200 (2,400 married) plus 500 for each dependent under 17.
#2 was 600 per person
#3 is 1,400 per person no age limit.
If you didn't get any of the first 2 stimulus payments or qualify for more you claim it on your 2020 tax return line 30 Recovery rebate credit.
The 3rd one went out starting in March of 2021 ... You do not claim it on your 2020 tax return. If you didn't get any of the third stimulus or qualify for more you claim it on your 2021 tax return line 30 Recovery rebate credit.
