Where do i report income where a 1099 is not generated because it was under 600

If you want to report cash with no documentation, such as a W-2 or 1099-MISC,

Click Federal Taxes > Wages & Income
Scroll down to Less Common Income
Go to the last selection, Miscellaneous Income and click Start
Go to the last option, Other reportable income and click Start
Answer Yes to Did you receive any other taxable income?
Enter the description and then the amount.

I can make this entry, but it doesn't show up as earned income, so it shows an over contribution to Roth IRA.
