I pay estimated taxes. I choose the option "Pay 100% of 2019 taxes ($5172)" for 2020. $5172 divided by 4 equal payments should be $1293 per payment. The cover sheet and the vouchers print $293. It's dropping $1000 off each estimated payment. I set up my estimated auto payments for the correct amount, so I'm good. But you're going to be creating a nightmare for a lot of people if they don't do the calculation by hand and catch the error themselves. Please fix this!
BTW, why is there no place to report bugs?

Are you referring to the federal 1040-ES vouchers or a state's vouchers?
In any case you can use Forms Mode to open the "Estimated Tax Payment Options" (or "Est Tax Options") for federal (a state's form will have a similar name) to see how the $1,172 (5,172 - 4,000) balance of estimated taxes due was computed. $4,000 expected withholding? $4,000 applied from the 2019 return?
Federal 1040-ES

Here is the work-around: on the Est Tax Options worksheet (in forms mode), override the number for Expected Withholding for 2020. That field is not writable without overriding, as far as I can tell.
