This is from state of florida
You should have gotten a Form 1099-G.
If you received a 1099-G Form this year from a government agency, you may need to report some of the information it contains on your tax return. The most common uses of the 1099-G is to report:
Taxable unemployment compensation
Generally, you must include in taxable income any unemployment compensation from a state government.
Unemployment compensation and paid family leave are entered in the same place:
Open or continue your tax return.
I was aware of the info you posted. my problem is do i need to input any of this as none of the answers fits my situation. Or I do not know what the four choices presented mean.
What exactly is your "reemployment assistance income"? Is it not unemployement?
I have the same problem. There are only five options when following the directions in Turbo Tax. Has anybody found out how to enter reemployement benefits from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity? I never received the form they were supposed to send, but even if I had it, there would be no way of inputing into Turbo Tax.
These benefits are reported on Form 1099-G, and are entered in the "Unemployment and Paid Family Leave" interview of TurboTax. You can get a copy of you 1099-G online (see below).
From REEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE HELP CENTER:
"If a claimant did not receive their 1099-G tax form, they received a 1099-G Tax Form by mistake, their 1099-G Tax Form is incorrect, or they cannot access their 1099-G Tax Form, visit 1099grequest.myflorida.com."
