You can use these steps to help you enter your IP PIN:

- Log into your account and click Take me to my return
- Click Federal to the left and Other Tax Situations at the top
- Scroll down to Other Return Info section
- Click Start/Revisit next to Identity Protection PIN
- Answer Yes
- Enter it on the next page

You can use these steps to get back into your return and enter your 6-digit IP PIN if you are using TurboTax Online.
- Log into your TurboTax account and click Tax Home to the left
- Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and click Show
- Click Add a state (not really adding one, just a way to get back into return)
- Type IP PIN in the Search box in the top right corner and hit enter
- Click jump to IP PIN and on the Identity Protection PIN screen, answer Yes and input your PIN there and click Continue
Detailed instructions for TurboTax CD/Download:
- Open software
- Click on Search Topics at the top
- Type in IP PIN and select that and click Ok
- Choose Yes, I got an IP PIN from the IRS
- Enter it in the box next to Your IP PIN and click Continue.
