Where do I enter an additional withholding payment directly to the IRS? It doesn't fit with any of the Additional Tax Payments categories.

The additional categories are Underpayment Penalties, Extra Tax on Early Retirement Withdrawals, Nanny and Household Employee Tax, or Apply Refund to Next Year.

To add additional withholding, you should be in the Deductions and Credits section.

1.  Go to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.

2.  Choose Other Income Taxes.

3.  Answer Yes, you have other payments to enter.

4.  Scroll down to see Other Income Taxes Paid in 2017.

You should be able to enter what you need in this section.
