Sorry--I do not understand your question. What update to your profile? Do you need to update something in your TurboTax account? It is not clear how you think updating your profile will let you accept a refund. Did you enter banking information for a direct deposit in the FILE section of the software?
You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.

You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.
