@asanoryo You've exhausted every idea I would have to offer. Please contact TurboTax Customer Support using the instructions I'm linking below. A Support rep will be happy to assist you. You'll enter information to receive a call back.
What is the TurboTax phone number?
Thank you for your reply. I have contacted them today; they are trying to find a solution to my problem.
@asanoryo I've also reported your post to TurboTax Moderators to see if this is an issue that has been identified as a "bug". I'll let you know if I hear anything back from them.
Did you ever get an answer to this? Been having the same issue right now.
@astroboy3546 and @asanoryo I'm so sorry, but I have no further info on this issue. I have pressed Moderators, but as of yet no updates have been made available. I can only tell you that it is a known issue and that it is being investigated. I'll let you know the first minute I get any new info.
Are you using a satellite company for internet? They can be too slow for Intuit. Also try using a cord to attach your computer to the internet instead of WiFi. As last resort try to transmit from another internet source. Run speedtest.net to see what your upload and download speed it. Upload needs to be at least 10 and download at least 5. Connecting with a cord and turning off WIFI might be all you need to do, Some people with slow or satellite have to go to a public place like a library or mall to get TurboTax to transmit. I am only guessing.
Have you tried turning off your virus scan software, and then submitting the filing? It may be enough to just turn it off, and then file, or you may have to turn it off and reboot with it off. Highly recommend turning it back on as soon as the filing goes through, if this works.
@astroboy3546 No, I never got a fix BUT if you are using API keys for crypto exchanges, they could be the culprit. After deleting the API keys in TurboTax and manually making a .csv file with all 4000 or so transactions to upload, my issue was resolved. Hope that helps.
It finally went through after multiple attempts , my guess was there was some update or backend work being done at the turbo tax servers which was slowing it down. The problem was not the internet since I had a 400Mbps line and everything else was loading super fast.
I do think the crypto suggestion by @asanoryo could be a possibility since I did see another person in the reddit forum mention the same issue and he said he had a lot of crypto transactions.
@astroboy3546 Hallelujah, and thanks for the update!
I think this is causing my issue as well. How do you go about manually making a CSV file?
@pjolson1990 You've apparently posted your question on the wrong thread. This thread doesn't involve CSV files. But you should find your answer in the thread I'm linking below. Specifically, look for the answer provided by @AmyC .
