When I filed 2023 State taxes, I never received the refund in 2024. I can see that I am able to enter that amount for 2024 but do not know where to enter it?

I know the amount I was supposed to receive and I know the amount I paid. I'm just confused on where it wants me to add it on my state income tax lines.

You will not enter a federal refund as income that was not received. Your state taxes may allow a deduction for federal taxes paid through the year.

I recommend you follow up on last year's refund to see if they are waiting on you or if the refund was taken or adjustments were made. See View Your Account Information.
