Your 2018 tax return can be started, completed and e-filed at any time up through October 15, 2019. After that date the 2018 TurboTax online editions will be shutting down and the 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed.

If you are asking about 2019 tax returns, slow down. That software will not be available until late November 2019, and you will not be able to file a 2019 return until late January 2020 at the earliest.
