I am using the 2021 business edition on a 1041 for may late fathers estate, the fiscal year is Nov, 30 2020 to Oct, 31 2021 (initial return). The date field automatically inputs Nov, 1 2021 to Oct, 31 2022, can I overide this or should I be using the 2020 software edition? Also, should I be filing the year 2020 Form 1041 or the year 2021 form 1041 and using that years tax schedule? I have already filed for and extension (Form 7004). Thank you

You would use the 2020 Form 1041 for a tax year that begins in 2020.
See https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i1041#en_US_2021_publink1000285980
Therefore, you need the 2020 edition on TurboTax Business.

For tax years beginning in 2020, you would use the 2020 tax rate schedule.
