Wife dies April 2019 in her seventies. Surviving husband, not remarried, in his seventies, is now filing jointly for 2019 tax year.
2019 standard deduction for filing jointly = $24,400 plus bonus for each person over 65.
-Surviving husband being over 65yo = $1,300 bonus.
Is there an over 65yo $1,300 bonus for the deceased wife as well?
I think the standard deduction should be $27,000 (bonus for both), but just wanted to be sure.
Thank you.

Your standard deduction would be $27,000. The bonus amount of $1300 does apply for your spouse since she was over the age of 65.
My condolences for your loss.
