Maybe you are waiting for some forms.  Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.

 

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

You are correct, the IRS began accepting e-filed returns today (01-27-2025).  TurboTax has been accepting and holding e-filed returns until the IRS reopened the e-file system since early January.  As xmasbaby0  said, your return may contain some forms that have not yet been approved by the IRS for e-filing.  Your return will should be able to be e-filed shortly.
