What exactly is the "consent for use of tax return information" actually asking me to consent to? This is a confusing page.

Consent for use of tax return information

Unless authorized by law, we cannot use your tax return information for purposes other than the preparation and filing of your tax return without your consent. You are not required to complete this form to engage our tax return preparation services

This response is not telling me what I am actually consenting to.  It is only repeating what is in the consent document which is not very helpful.  Do I have to consent to file my taxes using turbo tax?  What is a third party?  A third party could be anyone.  Please be more specific.

The link to revoke my consent for use of tax return information is vague, it does not offer me an option to revoke this consent directly it just takes me to pages to delete my data and so on. Where exactly can I revoke the consent?
