What does this mean? Date of Payment Enter the date you paid or will pay your balance due. Is this for when I will pay my 2024 tax that is owed?

This is for the federal return. I think it is saying I did not pay taxes quarterly, but mine is a pension and taxes are taken out at time of payment. Any interest I have earned is not taxed until the time of tax filing?

Yes, TurboTax is asking you for the date you intend to pay your tax amount that is due on your federal  return. 

Your money is usually withdrawn on the payment date you specify in TurboTax, You can select a date, such as 04/15/2025 or the date you are filing. You can e-file your taxes today and set a date up through April 15, 2025 to pay your taxes and have your tax due withdrawn from your bank account.
