What do you do if you don’t have some of your W-2’s but you want to file?

All 2019 W-2's are to be entered on only one 2019 tax return.

If you have not received all of your W-2's then contact the employer for them.

If the employer will not provide the W-2 then follow the steps on this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc154

you have an additional problem if  you can't get replacements.  the iRS info does not contain state info. if you are in a state with an income tax and you can't get replacement w-2's from your employers your only option is to contact the Social Security Am which can provide full w-2's for a fee. .
