1099-B issues again.
-Imported 1099B pdf
-Asked to review cost basis of a trade. TurboTax freezes over and over.
-I figured out that the issue is two Code X proceeds.
-Solution is to manually type in the date acquired and the cost basis.
-I can finally file (no thanks to the supposed Tax Experts)
-File can't process, must mail my taxes in.
So you mean to tell me that you've forced me to upgrade, made me figure out what's wrong with your broken software, fix things manually, and now your telling me to file physically?
Either let me e-file, or refund me my money. Second issue with filing with TurboTax. Absolutely no help from you folks.
EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED.

An option that will allow you to e-file your return would be to delete the 1099-B import, enter it manually using summary totals for each asset sale reporting category. To do so:
After entering all your category summaries, Look for "To finish reporting these sales, follow the mailing instructions" and click on the link for these instructions:
Mailing Instructions
Take a moment to double-check that your statements are complete. For each sale listed, there should be:
- A Description
- Date Acquired
- Date Sold
- Sales Price
- Cost Basis
- Gain or loss for each sale
- A sale category based on how the sale was reported to you and the IRS
In some uncommon cases, there will be an adjustment code and adjustment amount.
NOTE: Any sales summaries that include only Box A or Box D sales, and which have no adjustments to gain/loss, do not need to be included on a statement mailed to the IRS.
Here's how to mail your statements:
If you are e-filing your tax return, then mail your statements along with Form 8453 to:
Internal Revenue Service
Attn: Shipping and Receiving, 0254
Receipt and Control Branch
Austin, TX 73344-0254
If you are not e-filing, then mail your statements with your entire tax return to your local IRS office.
* The questions you are asked by the program may vary depending upon what, if anything, you may have already entered related to investment sales.
Did you even read what I wrote? I just said I don't want to mail anything. THAT'S WHY I'M FILING ONLINE.
Refund me my money, I'm going to H&R Block. Absolutely useless.
An option to e-file was provided by @DavidD66 as well as the mailing.
You can contact an agent to see if a refund is warranted.
This FAQ will provide you with the steps to contact an agent
I'm not wasting my time with this anymore. Refund me my money.
