Was it a C Corporation before it changed to an S Corporation?

Hello. I am having a hard time answering a question in 1120S form in TurboTax Business.

Former C Corporation Questions.

Was it a C Corporation before it changed to an S Corporation? Yes or No

Should I answer yes if I started a C Corp and filed for S Corp which was elected with a back date for the same day C Corp was formed?

No, you would only answer that it was a C Corp if you actually filed as a C Corp before the election.
