So my family and I moved and my wife transferred from one Walmart store in Idaho to one in Colorado. My question do we need to get a w2 from Idaho?

Better ask Walmart.   Or look at her W-2 box 1-----does the amount seem like the amount she made over the whole year---or does it look like the amount she made in only one of the states?   You do not mention when you moved.
